How to wash a cat

Everyone knows cats are dirty animals that do not like water and give you a very hard time when you decide that you cannot put up with the smell of crap coming from it and want to give it a bath. A hard task, and you risk a lot, like your hands, eyes and what not. Here are a couple of ways to wash a cat.



This one is a classic, with the most important part being giving the cat some goodness before washing it and waiting for a bit.





This method is a bit more expensive and a whole lot of funny. The expression of the cat at 33 sec. is pure gold. Its expression afterwards is priceless. Presenting the cat washing machine!

    My cat just stands there and stares at me with the biggest eyes and most pitiful expression he can muster. It's easy to wash him, but I think I'd somehow feel better if he hissed and scratched at me every now and then.

    Not only is it important to wash your cat but it is important to be safe from any possible scratches, minor or major. A jumper or a long-sleeved shirt must be worn so that your cat has no bare skin to scratch. If you don't have one, you could wear long-sleeved gloves. It is also a good idea to wear clothing that isn't new. Be careful and gentle when you rub his head and belly.

    There is a way to bath a cat that doesn't dramatize it. A firm grip from the back of the neck. A slow introduction to getting wet. A quick yet massaging soaping. and a gentle rinsing. Do this the same every time no matter how the feline behaves. They will come to know it is not going to hurt.
